Brody is 7 months Today!

A couple of weeks ago, Tara a friend of mine, took Brody's pictures. They turned out adorable. He is growing so fast, he looks like a little man. He loves to stick his little tongue out when he smiles so I didn't get a big smile in any of the pictures. He is such a happy baby. He is loved by his sister and brother so much. Weekend in Vegas!

We have been waiting for this weekend away for awhile. We had this trip planned about a year ago, but due to a unexpected loss in our life we postponed the trip.So April 8th we flew to Vegas. We were so excited to have a long weekend away from the kids. Since Brody is 6 months now we could leave him with Grandma and Grandpa Carranza. We are so lucky to have wonderful parents that love spending time with the grandkids. Thanks again Mom and Dad for watching the kids. We had a blast, with the couples that joined us. We need to plan another trip.. Maybe a Cruise..?

Handy Brayden!!

Brayden was given a tool box kit when he spent the weekend at Grandpa Tony's. Brayden was so excited that the very next day he couldn't wait for Daddy to come home so that he could help him put it together. They took the tool box outside and started by painting it. But first Brayden had to put his Home depot apron that Grandpa got him. Brayden loves to paint so he had such a great time painting. Then with Dad's help he nailed the bottom and the sides together. Zoo Field Trip!

This Wednesday Brayden's Preschool Class took trip to the Zoo. I was lucky enough to get the day off to join his class on this Field Trip. I was excited to go with Brayden. It was a fun day but a little chilly. Here are some of the animals that we had a chance to see.

Easter Fun!

This Year the kids spent Easter in Tucson with the Carranza's. Matt & I were getting back on Easter from our Long weekend. Thanks to the Easter bunny he left the kids basket at the right place this year. On Easter they started the morning by making breakfast. Then after breakfast they colored eggs. We were home in time to hide eggs and watch the kids hunt for them. We enjoyed a yummy dinner together as a family.

Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Carranza's

This last weekend Matt & I spent a long weekend away. My parents were gracious enough to watch my kids for us.The kids had so much fun.

Yesterday I went on a field trip with Brayden and his preschool class so my kind sister-law watched Brody for me(even though my niece is 4 wk younger then Brody.) She said it was a interesting morning. I love this picture of both of them looking at each other.
