Seaport Village Fun!

The kids enjoyed riding the Carousel.

While in San Diego we met our friends (Ethan&Jen) after Christmas and enjoyed a fun filled weekend!

This Year it was our turn to spend Christmas with the McNeil's in San Diego. Since Grandma & Grandpa McNeil were in a bad car accident in November, we spent it at their home. We are sad to say that all of Matt's siblings couldn't be there so it was a little quiet. We are so happy that Grandma and Grandpa McNeil were home from the hosptial to spend it with us; they are recovering well. We are reminded what the real meaning of christmas is when we are hit with trials to make us better. I am thankful for my savior, through him I can be forgiven for the mistakes that I make. I learn from his example everyday, I hope to try to be more patient and to serve others unconditionally like he did. I hope that the McNeil's know how much we love them and hope for a speedy recovery.

Gift Exchange with Friends!

The week before Christmas we had a gift exchange with the Larsen's. The kids loved that they had a chance to open a present before Christmas! Brynlee loves her shopping chart!!

Brayden & Brynlee Making Cookies

So I am a little behind on posting.... With the holidays over I hope to be a little better. So now I need to catch up!

For Family night on Dec 8th the kids made sugar cookies. Brayden rolled out the dough while brynlee watched to see where she could help. I am so grateful for the love that Brayden has for his younger sister. He is such a great help around the house. They both enjoyed eating them when they were ready!!

Gingerbread Man Play!

On Thursday Dec 18th Brayden's Preschool Class invited the Parents to watch their Play. Brayden was part of the chorus which meant he sang all of the songs for the play. We were so proud of him because he is the only one we could hear when the chorus singing. He loves his teachers Mrs. Rebeccah and Ms. Lauren. I want to thank them for doing such a great job on the play and for the gift.

Brody is 2 Months Old Already!!

On Nov. 29th Brody was 2 months old. We took him to the Doctor last week for his Check Up. He is 9lbs 3 oz. which is in the 5% for his weight, he is 23 inches long which is 50%. He is my smallest growing baby yet. He has had some problems keeping his food down so we are trying some new formula. We hope that it helps so that he can continue to grow. He smiles now when we talk to him. He also choos at us. Brayden thinks it is so neat to choo at him, so that Brody will choo back.

We love our little Brody!!

The Turkey Trot in Memory of Kamber!

On Thanksgiving Day, I particpated in the Mesa Turkey Trot in memory of Kamber with Jen my best friend, her friends and family . I wore a shirt made in her honor. I am not a runner so I decided that I would walk it. I ened up jogging/walking the 6.2 miles that I finished in a hour and 20 mins., I felt Kamber there pushing me to finish line. I am so out of shape because I haven't started working out yet after having Brody. I was so exhausted and felt like every bone in my body aches, but I am so glad I accomplished this Trot especially for Kamber. I miss Kamber but know that she is happy with our Father in Heaven. I can't wait to see her again one day! We love you Kamber!!!!

Thankful for Family!

A week ago we got together to take our Carranza Family picture. We try to take one family picture a year because a lot changes in a year. I love that we all live in Arizona, so that we can have memorable times togehter. I am so thankful that my parents were introduced to the gospel, so that we can be an eternal family. I love my family and I am grateful for all that they do for me. I can't wait to spend Thanksgiving with them.. Love ya guys
