Soccer Season comes to an end!

Brayden learned how to be a better player this year. His favorite positions are Goalie and Defense. He was a lot better at attacking the ball when it came to his side. We are so proud of him. Coach Chad did a great job teaching the kids to play together as a team.

This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family in Tucson!

All of us siblings were together expect my brother Anthony and his wife. My newest nephew was born two weeks ago and it is hard to travel with a new baby. I didn't take that many pictures. I hate when I forget to get my camera out. I did take some pictures of the cousins playing. I also made banana cream pie for the 1st time and it turned out Delicious!! I am so grateful for my family and the great memories that we make with each other.

While we were in Tucson the kids went to the park, We also went to the Sonoran Desert Museum! The kids loved it. The animals were very up close and personal. Grandpa always has good things planned for us when we visit!!

Girls Night Out!

My sister and I bought tickets for So You Think You Can Dance Tour for My youngest sisters birthday and also for us. Two of my friends wanted to join in the fun so we all got ticket back in August. We had a fun night out in Glendale before the Concert and then loved the amazing dances that were performed that night on the Tour. It was so fun to get out and spend time with my Sisters and Friends. I am thankful to my husband who let's me enjoy an evening out. We tried a famous Italian Restaurant La Piazza Alforno, It was featured on the Food Network. The Pizza was delicious!! I recommend it!!

Cousin Andrew and Bryant came in to town a couple of weeks ago. They stayed at our place and the kids loved that they could have a sleepover every night. My kids loved having Uncle Justin and Aunt Kristi around too. We miss them and wish they would move back.

While Abby's little brother was being born she came and spent the weekend with us. She is three weeks younger then Brody. They had a blast together. She even slept for me and didn't put up a fight. My kids are blessed to have cousins that live close. I remember a lot of my childhood memories are spending time with my cousins and fun adventures we had.

This year since Halloween fell on a Sunday. We celebrated on Saturday with our Ward Trunk or Treat. My kids played games and loved looking at everyone's costumes. Brody and Brynlee only made it half way through the trunk or treat. They wanted to go back to our car so they could check out what candy they got. We invited some Brayden's friend that lives next door. The kids were exhausted after a fun evening!

Schnef Farm Brayden's 1st Field Trip

On Oct.29th we headed to Schnef Farms with Brayden's 1st grade class. I was so excited to chaperone and brayden was excited for me to come with him. There was so many volunteer's this year that each of us parents only got two kids each to watch at the farm. That was so nice. So we had a fun afternoon.

Last week for fall break we headed for Tucson to watch Uncle Jeff play. He is on the JV football team, my sister made cute shirts for the kids in hopes that it would help the tigers win. My kids loved sitting in bleachers and cheering Uncle Jeff on. Jeff made some great plays and punts. My kids loved hearing the announcer call out their uncle's name. Our Student of the Quarter!!

The 1st quarter of school is over. About two weeks ago I received a letter in the mail from Brayden's School. Brayden likes to get the mail so he saw the letter and noticed it said his name on it. He is doing great at reading things now that it is good in some ways and bad in other ways. I opened the letter when he wasn't around and was excited that he had been chosen as Student of the Quarter. This award is given to children that are excelling in there school work and homework. I wanted Brayden to be surprised so I didn't tell him. Matt and I took the morning off to be at the awards ceremony. We are so proud of Brayden. We couldn't ask for a better 1st grader. I wanted to share what his teacher wrote about him. It sure made me feel proud to be his mother.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Brody!!!

It is hard to think that my baby is now 2. Has it really been two years that I had him. He was my surprise baby after having Brynlee 16 months before him. I am so happy that the lord has blessed me with three children. At a time in my life I struggled with becoming a mother. Brody has such a fun personality. He is very friendly to anyone that he comes in contact with. He loves to say Hi to those around him. He also loves giving anyone five or knuckles. He has the strongest bond with his older sister since they are so close in age. He will defend her and she will defend him. I am glad that Brody was born into our family.

We celebrated his birthday at Grandpa and Grandma Carranza's house in Tucson. We can aunts and uncles there to celebrate it with us. Thanks to all those that celebrated his birthday with us. Brody loves you all.

Primary Program 2010

Brayden had his Primary Program the last Sunday of September. He did such a great job. He memorized his part and didn't even get stage fright. His part was- Prophets are called by God. Our Prophet today is Thomas S Monson.

All of us Girls went down to Tucson and spent the day with my Mom for her Birthday! My dad watched the kids while we went out to lunch and spent the afternoon shopping. I am so blessed to have a mother that it is here on this earth today. She is always concerned about others before her self. While growing up we didn't have much since there was 7 children, but my mom always put us first before she would do anything for herself. I am so grateful for my mothers example of always serving the lord.

Brayden had his 1st Soccer Game Today!!

He was so excited!

This year his Teams name is the

"Flame throwers".

Brayden continues to learn the game of soccer. This year they are actually teaching him the postions and what they do in each position. It was very hot today while watching him, but it was worth it. Grandpa Tony came down to spend grandparents day with Brayden at school on Friday for Lunch. So he was able to stay for Brayden's 1st game today. We are very grateful for Grandpa and the Love and Support he shows to the grandkids.

On Labor day Matt and I had the day off. We headed to Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center. The kids loved it and didn't want to leave. We played for awhile then ate lunch. I loved that you could bring in your lunches. The kids would love to go every weekend if they could. We invited our friends girls to join us Tayler and Kylie.(they are like brayden's cousins, really close friends) We loved having them spend time with us together as a family.

It is a McNeil family tradition for us to go to the San Diego County Fair. Daddy and the other McNeil Boys love to race they short track race that they put on for the people at the fair. The kids are always so excited to watch daddy in his truck racing around the arena.

My Brother Robert was sealed to Katie Ann Melchor in the San Diego Temple.(the temple is under a little construction on the outside, I didn't take pictures) I also was in charge of flowers since my mother in law who made them was out of town. Our Family Trip to Vegas

The week before school was out, Our friends invited a couple families to go on a family trip to Vegas. It was great to getaway. We had a fun time over all it was a little chilly so we only go to go the pool once while we were there. The kids loved it and We enjoyed being together as a family!!

Aunt Kristi and Kyle live in Vegas so we had fun hanging out with them while we were there.

The second day we were there we tried the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandlay Bay.

The kids loved how up close they were to all the animals. As parents not sure if it was worth the money for the adults, but glad we tried it once. Brayden was our photographer aquarium.

The last thing we did was take the kids to circus circus. I didn't get many pictures of this because our battery died on our camera.

The Second weekend in May, I was lucky enough to head to San Diego to catch up with some old friends. I am so thankful to a husband that treated me to this trip. I have known these girls since I was 15 yrs old. I haven't seen them in over 9 years. The girls were throwing a shower for our Friend Brit and I couldn't miss the chance to see all of the girls. We all live in different places so it was nice to be all in the same place at the same time. The shower was beautiful. We spent the rest of the afternoon shopping, eating and chatting about old times.

Today Brynlee turned 3, she was so excited yesterday she said, "I have my birthday morrow".. I said "Yes it is your birthday tomorrow." I had a long busy day at church, but had started dinner earlier in the afternoon so it would be ready after church. We had family over to share dinner and cupcakes with her. Brynlee is full of energy and spunk. She loves to be the little mommy to her brothers. She loves having her toes and nails painted. I am scared for what is to come she is so independent. My mom told me pay back will come back and haunt me.

End of the Year Performance..

Brayden had special shirts made for this performance. Brayden sang very well, he made all the motions that went to the songs. I am so proud of my Kindergartner! Brayden passed his 1st year in school. He has learned so much. He is reading so well and loves to write. He writes so cute everything is spelled the he sounds it out. His teacher said he is so kind and helpful.

He will be missed.

Brayden lost his two bottom teeth in a two week period about a month ago. He had been complaining to me a month before how everyone in his class had lost teeth. Brayden said,"I am six years old and the other kids are five and they have lost their first tooth". I told him I could knock them out if he wanted me too. But I have no control on when he loses his teeth. WELL the day finally came and he was a happy boy!! The tooth fairy came and he got a dollar a tooth.

Now he keeps asking me when are my new teeth going to grow in?..

For now I will enjoy this sweet smile with his two teeth missing....

A Great Bonding Experience!!!

Brayden was so excited to get his stuff ready for this special camp out! Matt went last year with brayden and loved it so he took Friday off from work so that they could arrive early. Matt was excited to tell me that he built this fire all of his own. Matt loves camp fires and the way they smell.(yuck, I don't care for it at all)

Brayden sure loved that the Schads drove up with them.

Brayden loves his friends Jaden and Dallas!! They did a lot of fun activites but brayden's favorite was making rockets and launching them.

Next year I told Matt he needs to take Brody too. Matt thought he was a little to young to take him this year. So next year and will be just be girls at home!

Mother's Day!!

I feel so humbled to be a mother on this mother's day. I remember when I was a little girl, I love to play house with my siblings and cousins. I always wanted to be the Mommy. I have enjoyed being the oldest girl in my family to 6 younger siblings. At times I felt like I was the second mom in my family because I was always helping my mother do something for one of my siblings. As I got older I pushed those responsibilities to my younger sister. But I am truly grateful for these experiences in my life, I know that I wasn't always grateful for the chores and responsibilities that I had at a young age. I do know that they have shaped me to be the mother that I am today. My Mother never had the strongest parents in the gospel, but she was always the peacemaker in our home. She has more patience then I ever will have. She always found the positive thing in any situations. She attended church on her own a lot thanks to members that would pick her up to take her to church. She has made sure that when raising her children that the gospel was the center of our home. She taught me at young age to serve others in all that we can. I remember numerous times that I would baby sit my siblings so that she could go and serve others. We didn't have much growing up but my mother made sure she gave of what we had. I continue to learn from my mother. I am so blessed to have a mother like her.

I am also so lucky to be a Mother. It took years of fasting and praying when my prayers were answered that it was time for me to be a mother. I know that Heavenly Father knows what is best for us. He is always watching over us and will help us through our struggles. I have friends and family that struggle with being a mother. I know it is hard but just have faith. The lord has a plan and it isn't always the plan that we have in mind. Being a mother isn't easy, but it is well worth it. I know at times I feel like pulling my hair out, or I find myself crying in secret when I am having a rough day. The smiles on my children's faces or the silly things they say make it all better. I love my three munchkins.

Bryant Phillip McNeil's Blessing

The 1st weekend in May we had a special Family weekend, Bryant was blessed.

My sister in law Kristi and Brother in law Justin had a wonderful lunch for us and we all had fun visiting and enjoy each others company.

We were lucky to have great grandma Jenkins come and visit us from California. Brynlee sure loved showing her how to use the cell phone. Kids are amazing with these types of things these days.

The 2nd week in April with headed to California. My cousin Miguel and Roxy where going through the temple for the first time and they were also being sealed to their two children. We are so excited for their family. We were fortunate to share this special day with them. We also enjoyed a day at the beach with family and cousin while we were in town. My Camera now has a battery so I hope to take more pictures on the next couple trips that we have coming up in the next couple of months.

About a month ago Brayden's school had Bingo Date night with your Mom. Brayden was so excited to bring me to his school for this speical night of fun. I am so glad that he doesn't mind having me come to school with him. We didn't win Bingo but it was a fun evening with a boy that I love!!!

Baseball Season has began!!

We are so lucky to have a great neighborhood, A guy in our stake decided to start a sports program for kids. He has kids of his own and knows how expensive sports can be. He started a volunteer sports program where all you have to pay for is a hat and shirt to play sports. I loved the idea and some of Brayden's friends were going to play too so it was a must for Brayden. This last Saturday was his first game. I am so surprised on how well he did. He has never played baseball before but has been practicing with the program. His Teams name is the Green Frogs. I am so thankful that Matt Peterson has took time to put this great program together. We are excited for a great season!!!

At the end of Spring Break week we headed to California. Matt's moms skin cancer on her nose had come back. Grandma was going to have surgery to remove it on Friday the 19th. We wanted to show her our love and support by being there. We got in late thursday night, so that we could give her our love before the surgery on Friday morning. We fasted as a family that Grandma McNeil would be able to overcome this trial. Matt gave his mom a blessing that morning of comfort and love. I am so lucky to have a husband that honors his priesthood, so that he can bless the lives of his family. The surgery went better then planned, they didn't have to take too much of grandma's nose this time. She is healing well and is doing great. Here are some picture of the kids and grandma. We are so blessed to have her here with us.

We also spent time with my cousin and their kids while we were in town. We went to a school fair, out to dinner and hung out at there house. I hate it when I forget my camera.(so there is no pictures) We were glad to see them and we enjoyed spending time with them. We also went to the beach while we were in California. The kids loved playing in the sand and collecting sea shells. It was a little chilly so Brody had to wear a sweater, but the other two kids didn't think they needed one.

We had a great trip with family. We are so blessed to have them in our lives. I think at times I take them for granted. I need to be more grateful for the family member that we still have here on the earth. I never know when heavenly father will take them back to live with him. I want all of my family to know that I love them so much.

Brayden wanted to go to Peter Piper for his 6th birthday. So we invite some of his close friends. He had a blast. Brayden and I had made cupcakes the night before for his little party. After this fun filled evening Brayden got ready for bed and he said "Mom I had a great birthday, Thank you for taking me to Peter Piper with my friends." He gave me a hug. I felt good inside that my little boy that is growing does appreciate the things I do for him. We both went to bed with smiles.

I can't believe that I am out of my 20's. I spent my birthday working, I came home to balloons outside of my house in my yard and on the garage. (Thank you Jen) After work we had a girls night out planned. Dinner at Paradise Bakery and shopping to follow. Here is a picture that the employee took. It was a great night with friends. Thanks girls we need to do it again. I came home and Matt had some gift for me. I love my husband, he does a great job picking out things I like.

Friday night Matt arranged for us to have a night out alone with no kids for my birthday. We went to dinner and went to see a movie. We don't get to the movies much with three kids so it was great. I love feeling like we are dating again. I love you hun!! We did take a picture at dinner but it was with Matt's phone and I haven't had him to it on the computer yet. So picture to come

Saturday I ended my Birthday with a Big Surprise. My sister Clarissa had planned a Spa Day for me. I had a massage, facial and pedicure done. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating to be pampered. All the ladies at the Day Spa were awesome. I recommend the A New U Day Spa to all. I wish I would have remembered my Camera.

I am grateful for family and friends that helped me enjoy my 30th Birthday.

Happy Birthday to Brayden.....

He is 6 today and is an amazing boy. He is friendly, outgoing and loves trying new things. He loves everyone he meets. I waited a long time for this special bundle of joy. Matt and I tried for a couple of years to have a baby. I learned after trying for so long that it was out of my control. My father in heaven knew when it was time for him to join our family. One day I was wondering what decorations I had to put up for Valentine's day. I didn't have much so I started searching thru blogs. Tip Junkie is one of my favorites. I came across this project and thought it sounds easy. So I attempted to make it with a friend. It actually turned out and I love it. My sister and sister in law loved it so much that they made one too with my help. They used more red and white instead of the pinks. This New Years we spent relaxing at home. I have been so busy that all I wanted to do was relax in our cozy home. The kids were in bed before the New Year. Matt and I couldn't keep our eyes open to ring in the new year.

The second weekend in January Grandma McNeil, Uncle Mark and Aunt Kristi came to visit. We always have a lot of excitement when they come to visit. Uncle Mark turned the big 16 when we was here. We went to dinner at Red Robin for his birthday and had cake and ice cream.

This year we were lucky to spend Christmas as The Carranza's. All of my siblings were at my parents house for the nice long holiday weekend. It was great for the kids to play with their cousins. My parents loved having everyone together under one roof. I am so grateful for my parents and the wonderful time were able to spend with family.

The Kids must have been extra good this year that Santa stopped by on Christmas Eve to Grandma and Grandpa house. Brody didn't enjoy him, either did Brynlee that's why there is no pictures of her with him.

Brayden was so excited to get a tree. He wanted one right after Thanksgiving so that he could decorate it. Matt only likes to get real trees, so it is too hard to get a tree so early because they don't last until Christmas when you get a real one. Brayden would ask us a couple times a week when are we going to get a tree. We finally got one on the 15Th of December. We went as a family to hunt or find the perfect tree. That night we decorated it and turned all the lights out in the house to sit and look at the tree with the pretty lights. Brayden loves to turn the christmas tree lights on every night. He loves to watch them twinkle and glow.

This kid is so happy to finally have a tree in our house.

We celebrated our Anniversary weekend relaxing with no kids. My parents were so kind to keep our kids from Friday to Sunday. We slept in enjoyed each other's company without being interrupted. We went to a movie which we don't get to do much. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner out. We also did some shopping, and it was nice that we didn't have to hurry home to take the sitter home. Thanks Mom and Dad for watching our kids for the weekend. I am lucky to have a husband that knows how to make me feel loved.

10yrs ago...I married the Man who won my Heart!

He held my hand, and I felt magic.

He kissed my lips, and I knew love.

He married me and I couldn't have hoped for anyone else.

We were married on Dec 11th, 1999. It hasn't been the easiest 10 years of my life, but it has been well worth it. We have had many trials, good ones, bad ones, hard ones, easy ones. Through this trials I have learned how to love, how to be patient, how to listen, how to support each other and how to help each other grow closer to lord so that we can return to live with our father in heaven. I am so thankful for the husband that Matthew is to me. I know at times I don't appreciate it. But I want him to know that I do notice the small things that he does to make my life a little easier. He is a wonderful father to our three beautiful children. He love playing with them and showing his love to them. He would do anything for us. I am thankful that we are an eternal companions. We are stuck with each other forever.

Homemade Gingerbread Fun

Last Sunday my sister Clarissa and her family came over for dinner. It was great. She also brought over the stuff to make gingerbread friends. My sister loves making things for the kids and they love helping her make things. Here are some pictures of the Family Fun that we had that night. I think the best part of the night is that Brynlee couldn't wait for the frosting to be made so she ate her Brynlee Gingerbread Girl. We had a great laugh.

Brayden played his last soccer game this Saturday Dec 5th. He was excited to play his last game so that he could get his trophy after his game. It was a cold morning because our game was at 8:45am. Brayden has learned and improved a lot this year. He scored many goals this season. We are so proud of the little soccer player that he is becoming. Matt volunteered to be Asst. Coach again he also enjoyed the time with the kids on the team.

I am sure there will be many more seasons to come.

Gingerbread Day!!

He was so excited to go to school that day. They were reading the story about the gingerbread man and doing fun activites. His favorite part of the day was that he made his very own gingerbread man. He couldn't wait until he made it home to take a bit, so he took one bit at school. When he got home he wanted to eat all the candy off of his little friend. I had to take pictures so that we could remember what his friend looked like to show Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa.

This year I am feeling extremely grateful. I am thankful for our home, jobs, my children, husband, the gospel and many more things. With the economy going down hill and my husband's job decreased a lot in the last 6 months. I have had to step up and work more these last couple months. I am so thankful that my job has let me work more hours to help our family move along these tough times. My husband has learned to step in when I am gone and help with the kids and also do house work. These changes have been hard on my children. I feel sad inside that they have had to learn to adjust to this. I love them so much and want the best for them always. I am extremely thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ, I am not perfect and have many short comings that i try to work on. Through my Savior I can be forgiven for my short comings, I continue to strive to be a better person for my children and those around me. Thank You to all my friends and family for the continues love and support. I know that all of you have helped me become who I am and continue to help me become a better person.

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas. Matt's sister Krist wanted to have Thanksgiving at her house this year. So we left on Wednesday after work and headed to Vegas. Kristi made a wonderful dinner. My favorite thing about this Thanksgiving was Brayden made a placemat at school with the correct way to set the table. So he was very excited to take it with us, so that he could set the tables up for dinner. He put his placemat at the table with all of the correct items in place, and then did so for all of us. Brayden was very excited to set the table for the whole family. Kristi graduated from Culinary School a couple of years ago, so everything was delicious. We did many things while we were there we went Black Friday shopping, played at park with kids, boys went shooting, spent time chatting and eating, went bowling. The kids enjoyed their time with Grandma and Grandpa. I wish I would have taken more pictures.

Hope for a better Winter

Brynlee has fought many ear infections in her two years of life. She had 12 cases by the age of 15 months. This summer was looking good until a couple of months ago she had two in the matter of a month. My Pediatrian suggested that we visit with a ENT specialist to have tubes put into Brynlee's ears to help have fewer ear infections.

So this morning we were off to the hosptial a little after 6 am. Brynlee was given a blessing last night by Matt and Kaleb (our home teacher) I was a little nervous due to the fact of Brynlee being put under for the surgery. We finally made it there and then the nurse checked us in and asked me a lot of questions. Then she took Brynlee from me and that's when brynlee started crying as she called my name "mommy" as she walked away. I started to tear up watching someone walk away with my little girl and hoping that I would see her again. I am so lucky that it is a short surgery. They came and got me 45 mins later when Brynlee had woken up. She was ready to come back to me as soon as she saw me. I held her tight with her blanket, as she continued to wake up. I hope that Brynlee has a better winter and hopefully with less ear infections. I truly am grateful for the gospel in my life, and am thankful for Priesthood blessings. I know that Heavenly Father was watching over Brynlee as she was away from me. The lord has blessed me with three precious children that I love with all of my heart.

Fall Break Fun!!

Brayden had fall break last week from School. I worked a lot last week, that on Thursday Brayden asked if we were going to do anything fun this week since he was off from school. My heart ached that my child noticed that I wasn't around much this week. I had Friday off due to some appointments, so Brayden played at his Cousin Andrews house. That evening I planned a fun evening after we ate dinner. I didn't tell Brayden where we were headed, he kept asking but I wanted it to be a surprise. We ended up at Extreme Play, it has inflatable jumping things. The kids ran from one to another for 3 hrs. We did make them take a quick icee break. We enjoyed the night with Andrew and Uncle Justin. Thanks to Uncle Justin for taking these great pictures. Brayden thanked us that evening for such a fun night.

Pamona Off Road Expo/McNeil Family Activity

The Weekend of Oct 9th-10th we headed up to Pamona California for the Off Road Expo. Since Matt's family owns their own business modifing trucks they had a booth there. We drove all night Friday and got there about midnight..McNeil standard time! We had to be to the event by 8:15 in the morning so we got up early ate some breakfast and headed out. Grandma had name badges made for all of us even the kids to show that we were part of the Expo. Brayden thought it was so neat to have his own tag. We found a booth at the expo that was selling little motorcycles for the kids to play with. It was the best 10 bucks we have spent, it kept them entertained the whole day. Andrew, Brynlee and Brayden were the best of buddies, it was so neat to watch them play together. It was nice to talk to my sister in laws that I don't get to see very often. It was fun to get to know them a little better. We all helped out in the booth, by the end of the 1st day I knew more then I have ever known about fiber glass. I want to Thank Grandma and Grandpa McNeil for the wonderful hotel and the food. The kids loved the time that they spent with them. I have a feeling that it was such a success this year with all of us there that it is going to be a yearly family event.

On the week of Sept 28th we received a letter from Patterson Elem., inside was a letter from the Principal and Brayden's teacher Mrs. Morales. The Principal was sending this letter to let us know that Brayden had been chosen as "student of the quarter" for the 1st nine weeks of school. Brayden's teacher had filled out a form stating why she had chosen Brayden for this special award. This is what she wrote "Brayden is alway working hard. He is helpful to others. He puts out his best and never gives up. Brayden is reliable and responsible! It is a joy to have him in my class!" I am so proud to read this as a mother. I have been working a lot more hours these last couple months at work, that I was felt like I haven't been the most patient mother. I attended the award Ceremony on Oct 10th, I hide until Brayden received his award so he would be surprised to see me there. He was surprised to receive his award and to see me there. I got tears in my eyes as he stood up in front of his peers holding his award. I am so grateful for my son that is so helpful to me and to others around him. He is a wonderful example to his younger sister and brother.

I can't believe that it has been a year that I was giving birth to this special little boy. We were not expecting to have another baby right away after Brynlee. But we are so thankful to Our Father in Heaven for sending us another sweet spirit. Brody has been a fairly easy baby, it was just adjusting to two kids that our only 16 months apart that I had a hard time with. Brody is always smiling and loves his older Brother and Sister. We are so blessed to have him be a part of our family!

My Mother turned 50 this Saturday she came to Mesa so that we could celebrate as a family. We had a busy Morning with Brayden's soccer game. We had lunch then I took my mom to get her toes done. She loves and enjoys this so it was my treat to her. Then she was off to have her hair done by my sister. Later this evening we went to Red Robin for her Birthday Dinner. All Seven of us of children shared this evening together with her. I want to let my mother know that I am so blessed to have her in my life. She is so amazing for raising seven children, she always would put us first. She made many sacrifices for us while we were growing up. She has stood by me no matter which choices I have made in my life. She always let's me know that she loves me. Her example has made me a better mother, friend and wife. I love you Mom! It's Soccer Time!!

Brayden played soccer last year, so this year he has improved a lot. This year we put him in AYSO. They do things a little different then what he played last year. They play three on three, they have two games going on at once so that everyone gets to play and touch the ball a lot more. I think it is teaching him how to control the ball a little better as he dribbles down the field. Daddy is his Asst. Coach again. Matt played soccer as little boy all the way up through college. So he enjoys being a Coach.

Brayden had his1st game on September 12th, and he almost scored twice. He just had his second game on September 19, and he scored three times. He was so excited and so were we as we yelled and cheered from the side lines. Soccer is a lot of fun! We are glad that Brayden enjoys it.

So this year for Labor Day we went to Eager, Arizona, in the Mountains. The Larsens grandparents have a cabin there, so we were lucky enough to join them and also have the Schad family join us. We enjoyed the nice weather in the mountains. I took my camera but my batteries were dead and I had no idea until we got up there. So these picture were either taken by Matt's camera phone or our Friends camera. It was a peaceful, quiet and cool weekend. The kids had fun playing in the rain, riding quads and just running around outside without getting over heated from the heat.We actually wore pants,long selve shirts and sweaters!! We are so lucky to have had this earth created for us to enjoy. We are so grateful for the wonderful time we had to spend with amazing friends.

Last Weekend the kids were so excited to have Grandpa and Grandma here for the weekend. Brayden and Brynlee love when Grandpa comes because he always brings fun little treats for them. Brayden also knows that Grandpa loves going to the swap meet, brayden loves to go with him,this time Brynlee joined them also. They ate breakfast at the swap meet walked around and found some cool things. Brayden found some fun Hulk Hands. My kids are so lucky to have Grandparents that live so close and love to spend time with them.Brynlee was so sad when they were getting ready to leave that she threw a screaming fit because she wanted to go with them. We love you!!!

Uncle Hyrum came up from Tucson on Friday so we could celebrate his 21st Birthday. My sister and brother in law and our family enjoyed a yummy dinner at Red Robin. My kids love Uncle Hyrum. They were so excited to see him at our door on Friday afternoon. He played with them that afternoon before we went to dinner. They loved it!! We just want Hyrum to know that we love him and love having him over at our house.

On August 2nd we shared a wonderful day with Family. My sister Clarissa had her 1st baby blessed on this day by her husband Mark. We are so grateful that Landon has joined our family. Mark gave Landon a wonderful blessing. It was neat to have all of us there to share this special day with The Judy Family. The funny thing about this day is that all us sisters expect my youngest sister wore aqua! It must be the new stylish color. I love that we live close so that we can raise our families together.

1st Day Of School

Brayden was so excited to get up early and eat breakfast. It is usually a fight to get him to the table to eat. We had discussed what he wanted to wear the night before and he told me what he wanted for lunch.So we packed his lunch and he put on the outfit he had picked out. He was so excited to get to school. I asked Matt to give Brayden a blessing to help him with his first year of school. My dad gave me a blessing every year before I started school. I felt a little less nervous when I headed to school. Thanks to my dad for giving me those blessings. I think I was the one that needed the blessing before the 1st day of school. I teared up durning the sweet blessing that Matt gave. I knew that I was going to be sad, but we weren't at school yet? Brayden was so brave, he walked over to his classroom number and stood in line after the bell rang. I had to make him give me a hug. I know he will do great this year in school. My little boy is growing up!!

On August 7Th, I had planned to have a bunch of couples to go out for Jen's Birthday. The Morning of the 7Th we had two people sick and one was my husband so I was bummed. We finally decided that we would go out as girls, but it turned out that only the three of us could end up going. These two girls are a huge part of my life. I am so grateful for their friendships. Thanks for a fun night out. You girls are the Best!!

Meet the Teacher Night!

Today Brayden had meet the teacher. It is hard for me to grasp that Brayden will be starting school in two days. He was very excited to see his classroom. Once I was done filling out the papers that the teacher needed, Brayden had started playing with block and didn't want to leave. I know that he will make lots of new friends this year and learn many new things in Kindergarten. I love him so much.

So a Friend of mine had her Baby Girl just a week ago and I decided to make some burp cloths and a bow to match the outfit I gave her for her shower. Here is how they turned out! This is just so fabric I had at home, so it worked. Next time I need to get some cuter fabric at Hobby Lobby. I love Hobby Lobby!!

Play Doh Fun

It is so hard to keep the kids busy at times, one evening after dinner I got the Play Doh out. The kids loved creating all different things with the Play dough. I am glad that they don't put it in their mouth anymore. It was a fun evening for the kids and I loved helping them with their creations and taking pictures.

Today has been an eventful day, Brody woke up this morning at 1am. He was crying and when I took him out of his crib he was burning up. I gave him Motrin right away, and just rocked him back to sleep. He woke up almost every hour whimpering in his sleep as I held him. I held him all morning until it was time for me to go to work. I felt that today I needed to stay home and be a mother. I called into work and got an appointment. Thank goodness I work at a pediatrician's office. We headed down to the doctor's office, but first I dropped off my other two kids at my friend Amy's house. I am so grateful for friends that are willing to help my family when things come up.
After being checked out Brody had no ear infections, or strep. But the Doctor was worried because his heart was racing super fast. He also looked pale and was pretty lethargic looking. They sent us off to the lab to have some blood work done and a urine test. I was so scared to take my 10 month old to have blood drawn. I held him tight and watched as they poked him as he screamed. His fever would not break and he only wanted to be held even when he would sleep. I was so nervous awaiting the lab work results. My friend Amy suggested that I have Brody get a blessing. Matt came home earlier today and my friends husband Kaleb was home today, so it worked out perfect. They were over to my house sooner then I knew it ready to help Matt with the blessing. I am so thankful that I have the priesthood in my home. Brody was not his self today and that made me feel sad. This evening Brody's fever came down and he started to play and crawl around. I know my father in heaven hears and answers my prayers. I know that priesthood blessings are real and that they are here to benefit us and our families whenever we need them. I want to thank my husband and Kaleb for giving Brody a blessing. I am grateful for the gospel in my life as well as my families life.

This week my best friend is gone to Lake Powell, and she let us use her pool this week. I invited my sister and her little boy Landon. We had a lot of fun. Thanks to the Larsen's for letting us use their pool!!

In Remembrance Of Kamber!

We sure miss this sweet little girl. We miss her smiles, hugs, giggles and her cuddling on our lap. We know that she only needed to be here on earth for 2 years, then she was called back by her father in heaven. This Saturday has been a year since she left us. I know that through our heavenly fathers plan we will have the chance to see her again. But all of this still makes me sad and upset at times.

The last time I held Kamber was in the hospital on July 25th 2008. I thank Ethan and Jen for letting me come to the hosptial. I held her in my arms close to my heart. I ran my fingers through her hair and touched her sweet face. The reason I feel extra close to Kamber is; I was pregnant at the same time Jen was when she was Pregnant with Kamber. We were so excited to have babies at the same time. We both had problems with our pregnancies. I unfortunately lost my baby. I adored Kamber as if she was one of my own after losing my baby. Jen was a strength to me at this hard time in my life, as I coped with a miscarriage. She let me be a part of Kamber's life. Kamber was a hard baby so I would come over and give Jen a break by holding her. I loved this special girl. She is truly our angel. We love you Kamber!!!

Brody's New Adventures..

Now that Brody has been crawling for a month. He has found fun place to get stuck in and to explore. One day last week this is where I found him. After finally learning how to crawl at 9 months, it only took him a week later to learn how to pull himself up and hold on to the couch or chairs. He is now walking a long furniture at 10 months. It doesn't take long for them to get around. He will be walking sooner then I want him too.

McNeil Fort Fun!

Last week after baths, Brayden asked his Dad for help to make a fort. So this is what it looked like. They watch a movie inside of it and Brayden slept there that night. He was so excited to have his very own fort. Thanks Dad for helping the kids have a fun evening.

1st Trip to Library!!

On Saturday, July 18th we headed to the Library. We wanted to get the kids out of the house, and in Arizona it is so hot, so we needed an activity that was indoors. Brayden has been to the library before with friends but never with us. He was excited to get his very own Library card and check out books. Brynlee and I found puzzles that kept us busy while Dad and Brayden found books to take home. We only lasted about 30 minutes at the Library with all three kids. It was a great family outing. It brought back old memories of when I was a young girl, since there was 7 us and 5 of us are all two years apart we had to find something inexpensive to do. My parents took us to the library on Saturdays and we loved it!! Brayden can't wait to go again to check out more books. I am glad that he loved it!!

Our Fish Friends...

So Bradyen became a new fish owner while we were on vacation in California. His Uncle Kyle helped him win these cute fish at the State Fair. Well everyone joked how long these guys would survive. They actually made it back to Arizona from California, but only lasted to days after that, so they survived 1 wk. Brayden loved to feed his fish and talk to them. He named his pet fish Goldee and Fred. He was sad that they didn't live longer. He wants to buy some more fish soon. We will see if we can find a cheap tank then we may be owners of new fish.

Brody turned 9 month the week we were in San Diego on vacation. Yes and he is finally crawling!!! He is our late bloomer, Brayden and Brynlee were crawling at 6 months. Brody had no need to move anywhere because his older siblings would bring everything to him. Today we took him to the Dr. for his ck up. He weighs 18lbs & is 28 1/2 inches long and his head is 18 1/2. He is still in the 10% for his weight, 25% for his height and 85% for his head... Boy does he have a big noggin.. We are glad that he is growing healthy and strong. He will be 1 just around the corner and I can't believe that is going to be a year that I had him. Time sure does fly!!

Brynlee got a hold of my sunglasses the other day. She loves putting on sunglasses. I had to take pictures so that I could remember this sweet adorable face forever. Brynlee is our girly girl, she loves purses, shoes,sunglasses, jewelry and make up. She is only two yikes, and likes this stuff already. 4th of July Celebration!!!

This year we had a family Reunion get together with my Dad' s side of the Family. While growing up we had family gatherings often. We loved spending time with our Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Since alot of have been married and live in different states, it is hard to have family function. We spent Sat the 4th at Presidio Park in Old Town San Diego. We enjoyed a yummy carne asada,beans,rice, salads and more. Brayden met cousin that he didn't know he even had. He loved playing and running around with them. I am so glad that we spent this day as a family. After the park we went to my cousin Rick's house to watch the fireworks!! This year we saw fireworks two nights in a roll!!

A big Thank You to my Aunt Norma for getting up early to find us a spot so that we could spend the 4th together.

Fireworks..

On the Friday after the water park, our friend Steffani invited us to a carnival in Steele Canyon. They have this every year, but this was our first time attending. They had food, rides and fireworks. It was so amazing the fireworks were shot off right in front of us. I haven't seen a show like this in Arizona ever before. Matt took a Video of what we enjoyed that night. We are so lucky to live in this country where we enjoy the freedoms that we have!
